I'm in the Altanta metro area and hardly ever seeother A3's. Maybe 2-3 per month. Tons of other Audi's, but not many of the small guys. Coming from NJ, it seems everyone here is stuck on the status symbols (A8's, Q7's, RS's, etc).

I work for a European company and I get comments in the work parking lot all of the time. The European'slove it. Still haven't seen another one pop up in the parking lot yet though.

Still few enough where I am (Northern L.A. county) to flash the beams or throw a wave at my A3 comrads. A4s on the other hand, are like flies.

I've only seen two others in town and that is it. I didn't check their plates so they may have been visiting or coming into Omaha for the weekend. There are a bunch of A4's and A6's with adose ofTT and A8.

There is only one Audi dealer in the entire state of Nebraska that I know exists.

A3 drivers never wave back around here.

No Audi drivers wave here at all. I've given up!

That's because they are driving too damn fast to let go of the wheel.

Around here they're slow enough that I should be honking, not waving.

Lots of A4s and A6s here but largely the drivers are too busy yapping on their cell phones and not paying attention...to anyone or anything. Same with the A3s, but based on their general air of self-importance and the stripped down trim lines, I'm pretty sure lots of them just got the cheapest Audi they could find just for the sake of owning an Audi.

The 2-3 enthusiasts I've seen (the ones with S4s and S6s) have always thrown a wave or struck up a conversation.

the stripped down trim lines

HEY! I resemble that remark ....And I got it this way on purpose. I don't like leather...and until heated AND cooled leather seats are the norm, I won't own a car with leather. Burned legs FTL

I'll let the cloth seats go this time ...nah, actually i prefer the cloth myself. Perhaps "lack of any trim line" would have been a better choice of words.
