Has anyone tried to put a towing package of any kind on their A3? I used to have one on my RAV4 before I sold it, and I would like to continue to use my bike rack that I still have on my new A3.

 

I installed the Curt hitch. Search google and you will find it. The hitch is barely noticeable after being installed...can only see the receiver. the install requires thhat the bumper be removed, but I found the install reasonably manageable.

 

I checked a few months ago, and some of the models required cutting a small square in the fascia trim, which concerned me. It looks like the Curt hitch model does not require that. I did see that it requires stabilizing straps for using it as a bicycle hitch (my intended use), but I'm not sure what you would attach the straps to on the back of the A3?
