So, I've found a car, 2007 model, but it has the paddle shifters. Not a problem, but I am trying to figure out what model/options it has? It is NOT an s-line, but has the 6speed auto. Does the auto always have the paddle shifters? Was there some other option back then?

Anyone have any list of the previous years options?

DSG = paddle shifters.

 

I think the early "Basic" model A3's (no Sport, Premium or S-Line, usually cloth seats) with DSG did NOT have paddle shifters. That may have been only 2005 and 2006 US cars.
