A6 2.7T - tiptronic - paddle shifters?
#2
For the C5 A6 Audi used a system where by the there were rocker switches on the steering when that allowed you to change gears when the trays was in manual mode. you pushed the button up to go up and down to go down there were two identical buttons one on the left and on on the right. This option was available on both 4 and 3 spoke steering wheels. having said this it was an option.
The RS6 however did come with paddle shifts. I don't know if you could put the steering wheel from the RS6 onto a car that was already wired for the wheel mounted gear change (the reason is that on the RS6 the left paddle went down the box and the right went up rather than having the ability to go up and down the gear on both sides.)
however if the car was not fitted with the option from the factory there is a DIY out there that would allow you to fit it. however having looked over it my self I dont think it would like to attempt it.
