Hi everybody,

I have a quick question: In May 2005 Audi is going to introduce the A3 into the US market. I'd love to buy one BUT if it's NOT coming from latiin american (Mexico & Brazil) assembly factories. I have (and know of) a lot of problems with new Audi/VW coming from there and consumer reports rates VW and Audi as non-reliable (as opposite I suppose as in Europe). Does anybody know from where the Audi A3 is coming from, where it's assembled (for the US market)?

I thought only the VW's were being made in S. America. I'm pretty sure they are built in Ingolstadt.

from the VIN number of the A3 which I saw on ebay it did say that they are assebled in Germany

but the problem as I can was already resolved....
