Hi all,

I was reversing and the passenger side wing mirror got caught on the bush,it slowly moved forward (as it does to prevent breakage), but I think it got pushed too far as it's stuck forward and I can't move it back into place.

The electrics still work so nothing appears broken... is there a knack to snapping it back? Or do you think I've broken it and it's a job for the dealer?

Did anyone find a solution for this as my vehicle has been hit and pushed the wing mirror in the forward position. Everything seems to be ok but it won’t twist back to the correct place.

 

I got it sorted thanks to my Dad.

Despite having tried and failed earlier, he refused to let it beat him so he gave it a very powerful push and it snapped back to where it should be, no problems caused.

Would suggest getting someone strong, (but careful) to help!
