Default Wiring for Heated Seats

The CPO 2006 A3 2.0T DSG Sport I recently bought doesn't have the Cold Weather package that was the one option missing from my ideal.

Does anybody know if the seats already have heater elements and wiring installed?

I did find that the wiring for heated mirrors is already in place (in fact, the right side mirror has the heater element and wires connected), so that looks easy to do with the purchase of a left side mirror and enabling the VAG-COM code.

Related question - where can I purchase the twelve-point wrench needed for the seat rail bolts?

Good question, I wonder if the hardware is already installed. Where do the switches normally go? If my memory serves me, they are on the climate control unit. Would you have to replace the unit to enable them?

As for the 12 point wrench, you should be able to get it at Napa. I had to get one to remove the steering wheel and I went to a few stores but only Napa had it. They have a few different sizes.
