WOW WOW WOW!!!
Hey now, I've been watching to make sure it wasn't going to be a 3.2 bashing session, but don't flip it the other way either. Each car is cool and unique in its own way. Let's settle for that until the Quattro comes to the US in turbo A3 form.
Cheers!

Cheers!
Those are insane lease amounts. I'm amazedthere aren't anyS Lines around here. Just for hahas, I searched on cars.com and found like half a dozen 3.2s in the area, but none of them specify the S Line package. Dealers used to post their new inventory online, but now they all have the same suck a$$ standard Audi site that doesn't list inventory.

I love how all the guys with the 2.0 hate on the 3.2 by saying save ten grand... I say dont be cheap and get the good one! I love my 3.2, hell its the only way to get quattro.

BTW - Welcome aboard - we share opinions here - we don't 'hate' on each other. We are the brotherhood of A3 drivers.

Ah. Sorry, but I seem to have missed the 'hating' portions of this post.

Hmmmm......
The research continues... IRA Audi quoted me $640/mon for a 2008 A3 3.2S Line with $3,000 down. Its got cold weather, bluetooth, xenons and open sky. Silver on black. This would be for a 3 year lease, 15K miles per year.
Even though its a kick a$$ car - Thats still paying at a premium. I just cant justify the inflated mark-up at this point. [:@]
Thanks for all the comments guys. Any other experiences or ideas welcome.

Gosh! 2.0FSI versus 3.2...and a fight? Geez guys, don't we all know that real Audi A3 drivers driver 200BHP 2.0TDIs?
Don't kill me!
The reason I'm commenting is because of the lease rates. Buying a car is so different in the US. I didn't even know you could get a car for $1600 down and then make any payment. It seems SUPER flexible to me! Wow!
Plus RedSox, if it makes you feel better on the lease rates....my 2007 TDI, Open Sky, power seats, auto wipers, lights etc etc cost $45000US...no leather....and that was a cash price for the car. Adding open sky to the car here costs $2500US...and no negotiation...Audi imports cars here through the Swire Group (HSBC, Cathay Pacific Airlines etc) and it owns the entire distribution channel. Want an Audi? Pay $2500US for open sky, add another $2000 for Xenons.etc etc...don't like it? Buy something else! No lease, no nothing!!

Don't all 3.2's include S-Line as standard equipment?

Chef;
Okay. I think I misread that an thought he was telling us 2.0T guys not to hate. Or am I just not understanding the symantics and gramatical uses for 'hate'.
Speaking of hatin'.....
TPE_A3 - go ahead keep rubbing it in. If they had offered that 2.0 TDI here - I would have had that in a heartbeat - especially if it had a 6MT. Keep laughing. We'll go and make you diesel drivers stay in your own forum.....
