i think so too 6.5 for front track and 6.9 for quattro and about 7.2-7.4 for tiptronic correct me anyone if i am wrong.

awd helps from a dig therefor it would be faster from 0-60 from 60 on fwd is faster.
Strange theory you have here... It depends on the conditions/mods, but.... Tests have shown that the front trak is faster on straight aways, and only slightly slower in the turns. I forget who did it, but there is a post w/article on the subject. But no doubt the awd is gunna put the power down better.. Its just the added weight/drivetrain slack that takes away from that.

got to any drag strip or 0-60 test. Take two of the same cars one awd one fwd. throw them down the track and the awd will get you a much better 60' time and probly 1/8th but thats where the tables turn and the fwd catches and may pull away. you mash the pedal in a quattro car and it scoots away you do the same in fwd and wheel spin is what you have. It has always been this way awd from a dig and fwd/rwd from a roll. Now take those same two cars at 40mph roll dead heat and mash it, the fwd car will walk all over the awd car. Unless its like my first dsm that when you mash the pedal in 3rd gear from a roll and you get wheel spin.

Now twisties awd wins hands down again, unless the awd system is a crappy design, and the suspension setup is bad. Take for instance a type r integra in a road corse or autocross with a competant driver would walk all over a wrx in G's around the bends. Granted the wrx would own the straights but the corners make a huge impact. Having owned a fwd and awd dsm I can atest to these theories.

w/ the 25% drivetrain loss and 200 LBS weight , the Audi Quattro drivetrain is slower in the 0-60. AT STOCK

w/ 150 BHP traction is not a big issue.

If the cars were both 300-400 BHP traction becomes more of an issue

you may be right on the traction as I have never driven a fwd audi before. I just know with a dsm and cars with power thats always the case. drive train loss or not awd is ALWAYS faster 0-60.
