01 A4: spare tire size question... chart included..
Hey,
I run 235/45r17 in the summer on my 01 B5 but my spare remains the stock size of 225/45r17... I beleive that the save percentage is 5% for our cars.. correct me if im wrong? i see a difference of 1.39%
So technically could I use a 225/45r17 as a spare once in a while, if so should it only be for short distances or can I do a couple hundred miles if I get a flat on a highway in the middle of nowhere?

daimeter doesnt matter much, you will see some under stear on taht side but you can deff get away with driving on it if you had too, just dont go 1000 miles on it.
