Default 02259 Fault

Information Display and Control Head (Front) (J685) No Signal/No Communication.. 02259 Fault code on the diagnostics machine.

Any ideas how to mend this, I have reset it a couple of times through the diagnostics, but nothing. Please help. It has been reset, in every way that I know.

Its a 2008 Audi A4, basic chorus sound system. thinks its the 11speaker system, any ideas?

Stephen

I did some searching around and I can't find anything specific to this code other than what you already have "No signal/communication intermittent". leads me to think that it could be a loose connector somewhere or a problem with the MMI coding. perhaps consult with a dealer and see if you are due an MMI update? it might help.

good luck

Default 02259 Fault

Cheers for the reply,

But no, the wires to the screen from the radio have full continuity and full power to the stereo, tho a bit of an irregularity in the can + and can - wire, different in voltage, so yes I think its going to audi, but finding an audi dealership who have come across this is the main thing as most could be a bit heafty on price even tho I've found the fault, checked the wiring and all that, so was hoping someone might have come across it before, but still no luck so far. It is all the basic basic 11 speaker system, no mmi at all.

Thanks again,

Stephen
