Default 03 A4 Transmission Leak Question
Hi,
Could anyone tell me what this leak around the transmission and drive shaft? When driving the car, what I believe to be oil, gets splashed on the exaust pipe. Do I have a bad seal or maybe something worse?

On my car it was the drive shaft output seal. The seal was abut $70+ at the dealership and $7 and change from ECS Tuning. Took less than a hour to replace.

Thanks for the info, it really helps. I took my car to a local import repair shop today. I'm curious what they say it will be and how much they will want to repair it.
