Is a 1.5 bar Greedspeed chip too much for 1.8T?

I found a guy who will sell me his 1.5 bar Greedspeed chip for my 02. I'm concerned that is might be overkill on the boost, being the whole car is factory otherwise. Should I stay away from somthing with this much boost? And who knows about the fuel map.

well 1.5 bar is about 22 pounds of boost, back when the 1.8t was fairly new, sport compact car had a turbo issue and stated that because the k03 is so small, at 20 psi it is spinning at a frighteningly fast 215,000 rpm, which will kill that turbo shortly there after. I wouldn't get it, unless you need a good reason to upgrade
