hey guys decided to not get the full borla exhaust from awe and get a custom magnaflow. what mid muffler should i get? Where can i get a downpipe or should i just stick to the stock dp? high flow cat or test pipe.
oh ya i have a 2000 1.8 a4 q mt.

 

do you have emissions inspection where you live. if so i would buy the downpipe and cat from techtonics. do you want to go 2.5", 2.75", or 3"?

 

i have 2.5 straight off the turbo to two magnaflow dual chambers. sounds awesome

k, get techtonics downpipe and cat. you can go with borla cat-back but its a little expensive in my book. I just did magnaflow from the cat-back. thats what i suggest, same performance, sounds nice, and cheaper...

 

i too live in CA. full magnaflow with a custom setup. BRAND new mufflers, and put in and brand new ATP removable test pipe ( can put cat in and out for smoggin purposes) this is my exact setup. built myself.
