I am rebuilding my 1998 A4 b5. I am doing an auto to manual swap.(parts are stupid cheap where I am.) My question is: Will a 2.0t from a b6 work with the 1.8t 5 speed 01A? I have read that the 6 speed manual and the 5 speed manual are basically the same transmission just an extra gear but that doesn't dictate the bolt pattern??? Or can I just bore out the 1.8t block and fit the 2.0 pistons?
