Default 1.8t or 2.8

Hey guys, thinking between 1.8t and 2.8 (1999-2001).
What do you think better? I'm not trying to make a car super fast, but getting about 30-40 hp is OK. In 1.8t it is easy, but what about 2.8 one? I can't even find an exhaust!? Why is there no a lot of upgrades on 2.8?

Thank's

you're lucky i have a swan as my background,

but seriously, if you're only lookin for 30-40 more than the stock 150 in a 1.8, might as well get the 30v 2.8, its 190 stock and you could probably pull 20 more out with intake exhaust and chip, but if you get the mod bug.. which you will, youre gonan want the 1.8, chip puts you at 200, after that do intake, injectors, intercooler, and eventually a bigger turbo.

haha ya u def started somethin with that one little random comment. i requested a chop of a swan taking a crap on a convertible beemer in another thread but nuthin yet lol

back to the topic...ya def get a 1.8T. as soon as you do the first couple mods your gona catch the bug and if you get the 2.8 u'll cry cuz there is practically no mods for it and the only way to see significant gains is with a supercarger. slap a chip on the 1.8 and it'll be a whole new car, u'll love it.

I'm surprised no one has said this yet so I'll do it...use this https://www.audiforums.com/search.asp But to answer your question, get the 1.8T. Your NOT gonna make over 30hp without a supercharger on the 2.8. You'll make over 40hp with a chip at a fraction of the cost with a 1.8T.
