1.8t turbo charge

hello.. new to the forum

if i put a big turbo on a 1.8t.. like a garrett gt35.. will it blow up the engine?

i was told on small engines, it can be to much? not sure on a 1.8t audi

if you put a 35 on your car and don't do proper upgrades, yes you will f' your motor
