i love it when the guy with 50 post starts to bad mouth us.
Don't tell me this is one of those forums where a high post count is appreciated much more than wisdom. Not to imply that the person you quoted was actually right or not, but for you to say such a thing is a little disconcerting.

That's too bad. A high post count does not imply anything more than a lot of free time. Quality over quantity and all that good stuff. Then again, I have about 12,000 posts on another popular forum, but it's only because I've been there for three years, and not because I am wiser or more knowledgeable. [8D]

How true, post quality trumps quantity every time ... now, if only we could do something about the post-troll situation on this forum ... we need more helpful and friendly members willing to lend advice, and less childish put-downs and bashing in the post content ...

Someone who's been a member longer and has more posts is more likely to be more knowledgeable on the subject.

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! have you ever visited any other forum, ever? if you had you'd know that this is one of the least childish forums on the world wide web...and also one of the most informative.

No argument there, this forum has been very helpful to me since I discovered it several months ago. Just my bad luck that I seem to come across some posts that degenerate into SHOUTING matches, and the odd TROLL that SNAPS at you when you are just trying to help out ... overall though, the good outweighs the bad, and this forum is the best (Audi) forum I've come across to date ...
