AEG crank
Scat rods
Wiseco 83mm 9.25:1 pistons (i like compression, good for spool)
Stock ATC block same as AWD

83.5 is beyond what you should use for a street car, guessing same sources. Plus the 24cc's isnt worth the thinner cylinder walls. If you use a TDI block and crank you can go 2.1L but you cant rev as high as with the 92.8 crank. Basically, its the same as stock.
or if you use a 2.0l ABA block with the Otteginer 99mm crank you can get it up to 2.2l with as much of a rev limit your head will allow

what for?
due to a knife edged crank for one. and also the machine shop he originally used did not balance the engine to spec. it basically vibrated itself apart

im actually not sure which crank he had prior. my guess would be eurospec. but he could have had a different ABA crank knife edged

I have seen a few people complain about their knife edge crank causing serious damage. Ill stick with a nicer factory part myself
