Default 100w bulbs in fog lights?

Is it possible to put 100w bulbs in the fog lights or would there be some sort of meltdown?

yeah dont put the 100w in. they could melt the wires and then you are screwed. what year do you drive? are you sure that the H11 are the right ones for your car? my 01 takes H7's all around high/low/fog. go to this site to see http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...lacementGuide/

newer cars use thinner gauge wire ( cheap option ) so you would have to put a relay in there, if the housing is all glass and metal the 100w will be ok
