Default 12V exhausts

are there any full systems for the 12V B5? i can't find any for them, just the 1.8T and the 30V. one of my cats is bad, it makes a wierd noise for a few seconds when i first start the car, and also whenever i decelerate it sounds like a bike running lean (random, loud 'pops'). anyway, the cats cost 900 bucks unless i go with an aftermarket or universal, and i haven't heard any good things about those. i figure a full system will get me a better sound, which i want. i'm not too concerned about power, i don't race it, i want it to last.

The 12V engine was only in 1995-1997 V6's, in 1998 the 30 valve was introduced.

AW forums never help me at all. i don't know if i'm asking the wrong questions or what, but they seem to be rediculously unhelpful (although i've only tried posting a handful of questions). the only advice i got was "build a custom exhaust." and i'm not a mechanic, nor am i a machinist, nor a welder, so i guess that means i'm SOL.....this brings my quest for a new exhaust system to an end, thanks anyways guys. You may want to contact "Mr.D-'97 A4q 12v" on the 12V forum. He has converted his exhaust to a single cat setup. Here's his webpage. He should be able to help you out.
