I had a quick question. On the 12v plug, it has never worked since I bought my car in Nov. A few days ago I finally looked at the fuses and it is fine. Has anyone ever had a problem with there plug or know how to fix it. I want to take the center console out but I just wanted a quick opinion before I tear it apart for nothing.

 

i'm not aware of any common problems with the lighter socket. i'd take the center cosole out, it's not too difficult, and double check the wiring underneath. perhaps one of the connections is loose.

 

Sign of the times.

It is now a 12v plug, not a cigarette lighter socket.
