16395 B2 CAM Adjustment Malfunction....help???
So the code that came up is:
16395 B2 Cam Adjustment Malfunction
I've got an '01 A4 B5 1.8TQ
Just had my T-Belt done a bit ago and I have a rattle that sounds like it's straight under the engine cover somewhere. The rattle has definitely progressed, and it's noticeable while idleing and there's like a brief intensifying vibration/rattle just after the engine hits 2000rpm.
My mechanic briefly checked out the rattle and told me it could be something wrong with the Cam Position Sensor. I now have a pretty serious loss of power (stock 0-60 run is at like 14 secs)....
This error code came up before I replaced my 02 sensors (about a month ago), and when I cleared it out it hasn't come back since. But the rattle has intensified, and even though I don't have the code my mechanic told me that's what was probably causing the rattle.
Does anyone have more info on this, I was told that to replace the cam position sensor it's going to be a lot of $...****, I just threw down $900 for a t-belt job...is there anything I can do?
Thanks...

UPDATE:
So I unplugged my MAF and gave her a test drive...I'm astonished at how much more power there was. I'm going to clean the MAF and see how that goes rather than replace it. I've still got this incredible rattle though which leads me to believe that my Cam Sensor is on its way to going bad. I guess I'll just wait until the code comes up again in my car?
I'm still open to any advice....
Thanks.
