I have a '98 and the fob will lock the doors and arm the alarm, but the lights don't flash and the it no longer makes the alarm indicator sound. When you open the doors, the lights flash like they're supposed to. I only have one key fob (the other is in the bottom of a lake). Can I do the Audiworld key fob reset using the valet key in the ignition?

Buy a vagcom... Those are (some of the only) things you can change the settings for.
