is there anything anyone can recomend for power gains on the 96 12v a4 quattro?, i have had hard time finding stuff, if i got aftermarket cat back or full system made for a 30v engine how hard would it be to mod for 12v? any management chips or intakes you recomend?

 

very few mods for this engine. Only traditional mods like a ported and polished throttle body, bored MAF, etc. Check out the 12 valve forum on Audiworld.

Well I've actually owned the stage three throttle body, MAF, and velocity stack. It was good for about 200hp total. So not a whole lot. The guy who sells (sold) them is named Mance Etheridge. His old sn was UrS4 and his new name is 1pissed90 or something similar. His products are A+ quality.

 

Yeah yeah, if you see a super charger by Motodyne, stay AWAY!! He is a scammer. There are no turbo or supercharger kits for the 12 valve engine.

Probably your best bet and cheapest would be a low restriction exhaust
