Whats the most Horses you can get a 2.8 to reach without a super-charger, i know theres not much you can do to a 2.8 but im just curious in the rangeyou can get it to.

To be specific im looking at a '99 quattro 2.8

^^^ 220-230??!? do you have a link for me that'll prove someone is getting 30-40 horsepower out of a 2.8 without forced induction?

I would say that nitrous is your best option if you don't want to supercharge. maybe a 75 wet shot?

with chip (maybe the ecu in the a6, it has 200hp), exhuast, intake, its propbaly no more than 230hp at the crank.

 

Is your middle display really green like that? Or is it the pic?

 

I didn't know the A6 2.8 ECU was different?

^^ yeah the a6 makes 200 while the a4 gets 190 both still have 207lb ot torque, dont know why. this only applies to the 30v though, the 12v, without forced induction is useless, just a nice workhorse.
