Hey guys, I know some of you have done the swap from a 1.8t to a 2.8 tranny and I was wondering if the b5's are all universal and can be swapped with no problem, or if the cv axles and/or driveshaft are different sizes for different years.

Also, do the two trannys use different clutches/flywheels?

I think they are pretty similar but if it were me id get one out of the same year range like 98 to 99 or 99.5 to 01
