Ok, so I took it in to my local mech, it was an ignition control module. Runs great now, ran me $450. OUCH!!! Just FYI for anyone out there. Also said my front right bearing needs replaced...anyone know if that can be done at home? I am thinking of taking the actual bearing to a local shop to have it pressed out and in, but disassembling and reassembling it myself. has anyone done this, and is it a tough job?
Many aftermarket warranties have high deducatables and will refuse to pay even if they should.
Check the fine print, be persistent and if they should pay, start making complaints to the BBB, etc.
Audi has had a number of bad ignition control modules all that fail on cyl 2.
