Default 2 Leaks

Well I put my car up on jack stands today as I was tinikering around and I noticed a messy oil leak. If I am laying underneath the car it is on the passenger side. Many things are covered with the black mess The right side of the transmission is also covered. I started wiping it up with paper towels but that was like pis*ing in the wind. Is there anything on the passenger side that is prone to leaking on this car or some things thatI should check before others? (99.5 1.8tqm) It appears that it was adecent amountofoil. I did have the valve cover gasket replaced in May, and I honestly havent ever gone underneath the car like I did yesterday so I don't know if it is possible for that to be old residue?I find it hard to believe though because new spots are coming up on the driveway. The dipstick level hasn't budged since my last oil change a month ago, maybe 1,600 miles or so. (strange for that amount of oil?) Also, it appears that my rear diff is leaking. Anything to look for in that area?

Thanks for your time[X(]

you can put some dye in the oil to see where its coming from and to discern between new oil leaks and old oil residue.

I might just try taking a hose to it or go to a car cleaning place that does undercarriage. Would the oil still drip after that long if it was old though?
