2 issues
1. When playin radio through the speakers the sound is clear but when i change to a cd the sound is crackly and fuzzy.
i'm assuming this is wiring where do i check the connections?
2. how can i safely remove the rear lights as i am insterested in putting in tinted tail lights

the car is a 96' A4

 

and could someone tell me should the back lights only the left side have a fog light?

 

I was wondering about that fog light too because just my left one has it and i saw it like that on another A4...

 

Yes, there is only one rear fog light. I thought I remembered seeing a DIY somewhere on how to make both of them light up, but I can't find it anywhere just now. But here's a DIY which includes instructions on removing the tail lights: http://www.audiworld.com/tech/ext38.shtml

I have rear fog lights on both, but mine is a 2001

 

They only come with one rear fog, for all years. If you have 2, someone added a bulb. Tinting the tails is stupid. It reduces the chances of the person behind you seeing them light up bright and when they rear end you, and the police get involved, it will be YOUR fault.
