Default 2 Questions RE- Audi Maintenance

1 - My brake light has gon out (computer was nice enough to tell me) The tail-light works, just not the brake light. Can I just replace the bulb or do I need to replace the whole assembly.

2- I was changing a fuse and noticed that there were a few missing. It turns out there were 2 missing for the ABS. Did I get hosed by the dealer when I bought it used? Ie - They removed the fuses so no light would come on? I added fuses but there was no discernable change. The brakes seem to work fine.

Thanks

1. check which bulb is bad and change it ( not the complete unit lol ) just the bulb,

2. all cars have fuses missing depending on the spec so upgrades are easy ( removing the abs fuse will still put the CEL on ) so check if they removed that bulb from the dash, doesthe ABS lightcome on for a few seconds and go out? does it have ABS?

pretty much what avant80 said, its a bulb look at the manual get the part number go to walmart, look at any one elses fuse box and there are gonna be mising fuses, you may want to check to make sure you have ABS and that its works (go fast break hard) as long as yur your not throwing CELS you should be fine.
