For the most part everything accept the timing belt and the turbo from what I gathered. I figure if Im getting the timing belt done now though, I won't have to do it for a while, and Ill sell it in probably 3 years or less.

Sounds good if the warranty really covers all that stuff. I would ask them alot of questions on the warranty to make sure there not Ripping you off.
Also after 3 years there will be ALOT of miles on this car i wouldnt expect much money for it then.

if the warrenty covers everything, then i would go for it..... no worries for 3 years, which is about as long as the car is going to last.......

I typically drive about 12k miles a year, I figure I will have about 165k miles when I go to sell it....

And yeah I read the warranty pretty well, the explicitally state no coverage on timing belts or turbos on the warranty Id get. Most other things seemed to be covered.

Elaborate please. If you maintain these cars, just like VW's, they should last over 200k according to the sticky here.

I would make them put in writing EXACTLY every single thing that is covered. With 127k miles, a 3 yr waranty is a good idea. Specifically, make sure it covers engine failure due to oil sludge.

Yeah, they can last beyond 200k miles with very good care, but i don't see you driving 73k miles in 3 years unless you drive alot. Basically my point was, if the warrenty covers you for 3 years, then you will more then get your use of the car, then when the warrenty is up, ditch the car........and get a new one.
