hi if some one could help me would be greatly apprciated. i have a 2000 audi tt coupe 1.8 5speed i put a new fuel pump fuel filter fuel pump relay i drive it park it try to restart it and it take s allmost all day to restart or even the next day when it doesnt start it just cranks over but will not start i brought it home from work the the other day went to step on it it jerked and died on me so i went home to get the trailer to bring it home and then later that night it started again any help would be awsome i just dont wanna be throwing money into this car thanx very much

 

Scan the car and see what set or pending codes you have.

 

Thanxs ill do that and see wat happends k if i did it right i just checked for spark n didnt have any is there a ignition relay ? Thanx ill check for codes as soon as i get home to hopefuly my coil packs arent shot. Its wierd caise sometimes it starts n sometimes it dont but when it runs it runs great

 

Since you just did some work on it check to make sure all the connections were put back on correctly and tightly. Since the problem is intermittent it almost sounds like a loose connection somewhere.
