Default 2001 giac chip owners

I've searched the forums and was hoping for a straight answer. I have a 2001 1.8t and noticed that giac has a chip called the giac-x chip. But when I went on the website I couldn't find this chip. I'm assuming the chip is better, can anyone tell me how much more boost you get from this chip? Is it worth it? and how much more is it than the regular giac chip?

it's the same price. will give you around .3bar more boost depending on gear. and yes, the GIAC-X is better than APR's '01 chip

I also heard APR is a more conservative chip if you are looking for more reliability with the added boost.

I am definitely getting the GIAC chip. I just didn't know the GIAC-X chip existed. Im going with GIAC-X, if its the same price with a little more boost.

THANKS for the reply
