my father has a 2002 a4 1.8t quattro with 78000 miles on it. I want a 1.8t i can mod for a decent price would a car with 78000 miles be worth my time or will it last me if im planning on putting a ko4, chip, exhaust, and intake soon?

 

depends how ur dad took care of the car. these engines can go 200k+ when properly cared for. i got 90k on mine and she's still running strong as ever. if he took good care of it i'd say you have at least double whats on the car. (just dont forget to do the timing belt really soon)

 

yea it still runs great and all... the truth is my real problem is that im having a hard time finding a 01-02 s4... so ive been looking at the a4's and thier possibilities, which do you think i should do? keep waiting for the right s4 and have 1 grand to put into it or get an a4 and have 5 grand to put into it

 

please get an S4 or an 01 a4 1.8t


but if you want an a4 past 01 just get an S4.
