2003 A4 3.0 vs. 2007 A4 2.0
I drove both cars extensively, 1000 miles on each or more...and hands down the 3.0 is a much better car.
It's faster, smoother, way nicer (standard)features (wood trim, real leather seats, xenon headlights, bose system, dual power seats, auto dimming mirrors, electric cumpus, anda settting so for your rear view mirrorsyou cancompress them closer to the car, etc) I know these features all can be added onto the 2.0 as options but for quite some cost. Overall the 3.0 out performed the 2.0.
Has anyone else had this experience or driven both? Anyway, I ended up buying the 2003. Money was not the issue. I wanted to see what a 3.0 engine felt like in the same body as a 2.0. In my opinion it just felt like more effort and class was put into the 2003 than the brand new 2.0.
Any thoughts guys?

I have a 2.OT with APR 91 chip, Eurocode Testpipe, DVFSI
I believe that is enough to blow your 3.0L A4
and of course getting 24MPG overall is awesome too
Milltek or APR exhaust coming soon.

Guys,
I am talking stock. And I was not referring to overall speed - overall car.
Obviously a chipped 2.0 would blow a stock 3.0 out of the water. Both cars I am talking about are stock.
