Alright so winter just hit and every time when I go to start my car in the morning the engine "trickles" and then it finally kicks on but then the EPC light is on and I can feel that the car feels a bit jumpy when driving it. Sometimes the car doesn't do this and it starts up normally if I turn the battery on for about five minutes prior to starting the engine, except for this morning when I tried to turn it on it did not turn on at all, it was just stuck "trickling" and would not turn on at all. What do you think it could be? I'm going to try and get a boost to see if it's the battery, but is there anything else it could possibly be?

 

Start with the battery, it takes more cranking power to turn the car over in cold weather.
