I opened my sunroof slightly last night and now it won't close. The dealer can't get me in until Monday which is not good. I'm going to try the fuse today. Any other ideas if it isn't that?

maybe a small amount of grease on the rails, it is proably the switch, will it open further or make any noise suggesting that it is stuck or nothing at all.

 

does it move at all, or just not close the whole way ?

 

It is popped open. The front is in place. The rear part is left up. It won't slide at all. If I turn the switch, the rear part moves up and down, but then stays up.

 

uhm, its a moon roof...thats all its supposed to do

 

why won't it stay closed then?

 

well i know if i close my sunroof, and turn the key off before its all the way closed, it will finish closing, but when i get back in and turn on the car, it opens back up to the position it stopped at when i turned off the key...with the switch still in the full closed position, so i have to open it the whole way before it will close the whole way... did something like that happen, where it was open to a different position then the controll is ?

 

I'm a flippin' moron! I just got it closed, I had the switch jacked up.
