2005 Audi A4 ... TWO questions!!
Hello! I just bought a 2005 Audi A4 1.8Tand I LOVE IT !!
I just have a couple of questions.
1) I was told the car is "satellite ready". It has a little black satellite antenna on the roof,
but when I click the 'SAT' button on the stereo,it tells me"No Sat".A friendsaidI might need
to purchase a satellitetuner. Is that true?
2) I would really LOVE to have a navigation system installed in this car. I am constantly
getting lost. [8D] It would be awesome if it had an ipod jack/connector too.
Can you tell me which one is best?
Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not to avoid your questions right off the bat.... But, please dont tell me you are a 20 year old chickdriving a $30,000 car!
2005 didnt offer a 1.8t engine, its either 2.0T or 3.2V6.
Your stereo has the sat. reciever, you just need to subscribe to the service.
Get aoemNAV unit off ebay if youre lucky or from the dealer
Dont know about the ipod thing, but dont newer cars cd players read MP3 format CD's?? You can put like 500 mp3's on a cd.

Nikki,
For your iPod, this is what you want:

As far as having a GPS, my suggestion would be to buy an aftermarket one that you can mount to your dash, like a Garmin or Magellan. Both companies make really nice portable GPS units, and you can move them from car to car. For the satellite radio to work, you have to have a subscription in order to receive sat brodcasts. All the hardware that you need for satellite is already built in.
