2012 a4
I was wondering if buying a 2012 A4 with 30,000 miles and regular maintenance checks and oil changes seemed like a good purchase. The car has 30K miles on it and 7 months of warranty left. How high are the maintenance and repair costs going to be, and is this car worth the purchase at $19K at all?
$19k for a 2012 seems like a pretty good price. In my area they are running in the mid $20k. Not sure if maintenance would be much different from my 2008. At 30k miles you don't have any big items coming do. Timing belt will need to be done (check the owners manual for the mileage) and that will run about $1k. On my car it wasn't needed until 115k miles (I did mine at 105k). Oil changes will run close to $100.
Edit: You didn't mention is it was a FWD or Quatro. That could affect price.

Less than $400 USD (not including the timing belt replacement). That cost me just under $900. Other than than that I have only had a few minor items replaced (purge valve, PCV) that were not expensive. I change the oil two or three times a year ($90 each). I spend twice as much on the oil than other cars would cost (Honda, Kia, etc...) as I use the full synthetic in the Audi (required) and the others use just regular oil. My wife's car is a Kia so that is what I am comparing to.
In my opinion my Audi has not cost me more to maintain thatn any other brand of car. As I posted on another topic if you get a car that suffers from breakdowns then it could make it feel like it is more costly. Hasn't been an issue for me.
