Default 3 engine fault codes, can anyone help?

I just pulled these three engine fault codes. Does anybody know how severe they are? The check engine light comes on solid (hey, at least it isn't blinking). I'm planning a road trip 2000 miles from Montana to New York. The car has been driving fine (especially when I clear the fault codes).

ODB II Fault Codes
16891 idle control system higher than expected
17536 long term fuel trim bank 1 (air fuel too lean)
17736 knock control cylinder number 4

The car is a 2001 Audi A4 1.8T quattro (50k miles).

Thanks,

JPF

For the first 2 codes they could indicate a vac leak, or bad maf. Maybe replace your vac lines and clean the maf.Do a throtle bodyalignment too.
The last fault code could be a byproduct of the first 2, or at least the one that refers to a lean condition. If you ever detonated from running lean, that could possibly trigger a knock sensor fault....

I had a shop replace a bad vacuum line off the FPR a few weeks ago. So it's probably not a vacuum line. I cleaned the MAF and a mechanic friend checked it and apparently its ok. I've been told not to worry about the knock sensor because it's probably a byproduct of the other two. Any other ideas?

By the way, I love your signiture and your avatar!

Thanks
Well if one vac line was bad that should motivate you/your mechanicto check/replace all the other 6 or so vac lines that sit in much hotter areas of the engine bay.

The other lines looked ok, but I guess I should replace them anyway (car has 50000 miles on it). Also, another question. The check engine light problem seems to be solved, but when I turn the chip on and run it hard on the highway, it flashes the check engine light. Do you think this could be caused by the dirty MAF? If so, since I've cleaned it, will this problem disappear?
