Hi, I'm doing a filter and oil change on my girlfriends 1999 A4 2.4 SE but nowhere can i find what amount of oil i should put in?!?! Can anyone help please? Very frustrating!

I don't know how much but heres a technece Ive used befor. Put four quarts in, start the car just long enough to get it circulating then shut it off. then check the dipstick. and go by that. if it a quart low, ad a quart. just do it in half quart, amounts, Oh and you don't have to start it again, just pour and check about a min later.
