Hey all. New to the A4 forums. I've been driving VW's for a while, but I think it's time to step up to something a bit more refined or at least thatand the fact that my next project would return better numbers (power wise)if I dropped the amount of money I intend to into an A4 instead of attempting to build the 1.9 TDI that has been getting me to my daily grind and back with the commute.

Anyway, a few months back I came across a set of unused .68 5th gear sprockets that bolt straight to the FWD tranny of my TDI for a couple hundred bucks so I picked em up. Question is this. Does anybody with transmission knowledge know if they can be used in the quattro 5 speed or at least mention what the gear ratios are so I know it wouldn't be worth the time? It came up as a consideration since It'd be helpful to think I could stretch the A4 mileage a bit further then what it is already capable of with the help of some additional power down the road coupled with a higher gear.

:Edit: Just an afterthought..........does anybody make higherratio sets for the 5th gear if mine won't work?
