Ok, so I have a problem with what seems to be the headlight switch. I found an article on audiworld.com showing the procedure on fixing it, but when I was reading through the Haynes Repair manual, it was giving me many warnings about how disconnecting the battery could cause the computer to lose its operating values. Is this a problem to be worried about? If it does lose the values like the manual warns, will the car still be driveable in order to get it someplace to have the codes reprogrammed?
