96 A4 Immobiliser Problems and Service Light Reset
Hiya,
from uk and got a 96 A4. its a 1.9 tdi. it runs perfect but just has a slight problem. sometimes when i put my key in and try to start the car, the immobiler light (yellow with a key sign) flashes and it doesnt start. i have to turn my key to off position and back on about 10 times before the light doesnt flash and then the car starts. but most of the time it is ok. starts first time.
also did service a week ago but the service light never went off. it still flashes 1n1 for about 60 seconds. ive seen the reset procedure on this forum but it just isnt the same with my car. the left button is for the clock and diming the speedo lights and right is just for reseting the mileage. left can only pull out or turn sidewards and right can only push in. anyone know.
