I have been searching for about 3 days and i have found nothing. I wanted to replace my headlights with aftermarket projectors, but I noticed that the fog lights are in the headlight assy. If I replace the headlights what should I do with the foglights. This is my first Audi and I love it, so some help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

 

do 2 things just cut out the fog entirely and get a HID conversion kit (will make visibility alot better) or you can run a seperate set of fog down to the front lower grilles and and doa setup there, im pretty sure you can uses a later B5 fog light grille on your 97

 

ebay. and get some rs4 lower grilles and mount the new fogs behind the grille

 

u can fit 99 projector lights on it with a lil modifiction.

 

Yep - I did just that with my 99. I haven't replaced my headlights YET, but I have HIDs in my low beams and 99.5+ foglights down below. Very easy to do and the visibility is great, and the car looks better too (in my opinion).
