97 A4 Quartto 2.8L V6
Just Purchased an Audi. I have 120,000miles. I have Some Manitance Records. Latest Stamp was 8-14-02. I have Sludge. Read many posts last night, very good informaiton. I'm not a Mechanic but i have some "peeps" that are. I'm going to seafoam the crankcase and the fuel system. Also switching to Synthetic motor oil.
These are nice cars. I was looking at a subaru because of the AWD. Then found out that the Audi Quattro was AWD. Then I test drove a 00 1.8T , nice, However interior was used up. Then found an 2.8L the next dealer down the road. Talked him down below book and now i'm IN. I live in Duluth Minnesota. The city is situated on a hill and we get snow here. So i Need the AWD.
MY 95 Safari(FamilyRide-we are 6 heads deep) is AWD but eats too much gas. My 88ttopSSmonte(My old whip) is sick right now GM scurvy i think, needs a paint job and a new engine etc.
Anyways, Where are the Fuses located. I did a search and it froze up.
Just my second post. Peace!

Ya you can get them pretty much anywhere. Some people go with silicone hoses, but i just replaced mine with the stock braided type. Either kind will last at least 70k miles. I think i paid $10 for 9 ft of oem style hose from a euro tuner shop.
Yeah, Got mine at Advanced Auto, just took the old ones off , the ones with the cloth braid on them, matched up the hole to the correct size, and bought about 2 ft. of 5/32. The silicone ones are thicker than the cloth braided ones. The tech told me that it will work just fine.
All the back braided cloth ones were brittle and hard. Just the black ones the green ones were fine. I hope this helps
