99.5 A4 1.8TQ + Borla Cat back..........
I highly recommend getting a test pipe or high flow cat at the same time. The bolts connecting the downpipe to the cat are extremetly difficult to get off. Mainly because of where they're located, but also because they will be rusted to hell.
I'm sure with your Jedi like teaching that anything is possible! Ewwww, I wish you could see it -- I just levitated my A4 with my mind......... Thanks Jedi Master Onepoint8tee
I see the testpipe eliminates the the cat behind the turbo (the search function does work), how does that effect emmissions testing? seems like that would be an issue,

OBDll cars get tested through the computer for codes to pass emissions at least in ny, look in the diy for the no cel test pipe and your emiisions problem is solved

Good to know the search still works!
There is a "No CEL with test pipe" mod on Audiworld.com i think. Depends on how the emissions test is performed though But these days they go through the OBD port which makes passing emissions easier than the "hook up a hose to the tail pipe" way.. There are other ways which can be found in the........ you know...
that looks like a little more then i need/want to get involved in to beat the test. not sure how they run the test here in PA. the 15 or so HP would be nice, but looks like a pain and like something to have to fuddle too much with.

i just installed my test pipe, yes it sucked but if your putting a new exhaust in its much easier. the hardest part was getting the cat out, once that was done it take maybe an 1.5hrs to make sure everything was siting right but i attached it to the factory exhaust wich had rusted bolts.
