Hello been looking for a ipod solution to my A4 99, i have checked for some solutions on ebay, and i Just wanted to know if someone has tried the VW original factory adapter??, here is the link:

If someone here knows if it will fit my car or not please advise me before spending these bucks on the factory ipod adapter. Or if someone has a good advice on some other adapter please let me know.

haw about super old school... cassette adaptor10 bucks at walmart...sounds the same as these stupid fm adaptors which will cost u 70... just a thought

 

It doesn't list an years or models that it will work with so I wouldn't try it. I have a "DLO transpod" I have been very happy with it. Its a little expensive but works 10x better than other FM transmiters.

 

people at best buy told me the VW wouldnt work w/ mine. i have the bose though.

i was able to find the dension ice link on ebay for $65.00 and it works like a charm.

 

those tape adapters work better then the fm transmitters.. atleast with the tape i cant hear someone elses shitty music when im driving next to them in traffic on the same frequency

 

Nah I've bought two cassette adapters and they've both sounded terrible... Go with the one duffman is talking about
