I have never heard of that.

I mean if you disconenct the battery, so the radio has no power, it needs the code. How could it store the fact that you tried to enter the code with no power?

Anyone else heard of this, or do you just disconnect the battery, and then try again?

I left my car on for about an hour and it did reset the radio and took out the two strike outs so you can add more codes (which is so ridiculous), but anyway... I've tried all the possible 4 digit number combinations on that little white piece of paper (as you can see from the photo I posted), and still NOTHING.

This is ridiculous. I really don't want to pay $50 just so they can do something I can already do myself, I just need the damn 4 digit code.

If you bought the car used, the radio code might be in your audio manual. I bought my A4 used, and the previous owner had graciously written down the radio inside of my Audi Concert manual. I would check there, and if it isn't there, a trip to the stealership might be in order.

ok here is what you do....call audi...not the dealer....let them know that your battery went dead and you need the radio code to turn back on your radio...my girlfriend did this for me and the lady gave it to me...all you need is your vin. Make sure you sound like you dont know what your doing so they dont send you to the dealer.

Default Radio Code,

I found the radio code in the spare tire wheel wheel. It was a small sticker with a handwritten number on it. " RC 0969"

Is it possible for the code to be made of 3 digits only?

I have found the sticky note, looks just like the one in the photo and I only have a single 4 digits code on it.

Any opinions?
